Maintenance of soaking block and furnace

After long-time use of heating block, it will oxidize, which is a normal phenomenon. The degree of oxidation is related to the use frequency, use temperature and use environment. If the soaking block is seriously oxidized, it should be replaced, otherwise the calibration data will be affected.

When using the instrument, please take care to prevent the collision or fall of the soaking block, otherwise it will cause damage to the furnace. Removable inserts may cover dust and carbon oxides. If the accumulation is too thick, it will cause plug block metering furnace.To avoid this buildup, users should  clean the heating blocks regularly.

In case of accidental drop of the heating block, check whether the block is deformed before inserting it into the furnace. If the insert is likely to block the measuring furnace, file away or polish off the protrusion. Do not drop the probe rod into the furnace or slam it against the bottom of the furnace. Such actions can shock the sensors and damage the inner of furnace.

Maintenance of power supply and protection switch

If the power cord is damaged, replace it with a cable of the appropriate specification matching the instrument current.If in doubt, please contact EAST TESTER Headquarters or authorized service Centre for details. Do not use underrated cables.If the use of the instrument is not consistent with the design of the equipment, the operation of the instrument may be affected or cause safety problems.

The overheat protection function should be checked every 6 months to see if it works properly.When checking the protection function selected by the user, the protection temperature should be set according to the controller instructions. Set the instrument temperature higher than the protected value and starts heating.When the PV value is higher than the protection temperature, check to see if the heating stops automatically

Cleaning Guidance  

If appearance of the instrument is dirty, use wet cloth and neutral detergent to scrub clean. Do not use strong chemicals on surfaces to prevent damage to paint or plastics. Make sure the calibration furnace is clean and free of any foreign matter. Do not use liquid to clean the dry well furnace.

Prior to adopting any cleaning or decontamination method (other than those recommended by Automated Instruments Co., LTD.), the user should contact the authorized service Center to ensure that the proposed method does not damage the equipment.

Temperature control setting and calibration

The temperature parameter has been adjusted to the ideal state before leaving the factory. If you need to adjust the temperature control parameter, please adjust it with the after-sale service center.

The calibration shall be carried out with a standard thermocouple above the second class during the inspection period.
